Our tourguide was an Okinawan woman who was born 3 months before the Battle begun. She lived in 2 caves. One night her mom had a bad dream that their cave was going to get bombed. So the next day they moved to a new cave. That night the 1st cave did get blown up when the people inside refused to come out. The older she got the more she began to relize how much the Japanese goverment wasn't telling the whole truth to what really happend during the Battle. So she has dedicated her life to setting the record straight and learning as much as she could about what really happend.Sunday, June 14, 2009
