Okuma 2008

This weekend we went up to Okuma with our friends--Jeff, Gretchen and Gideon. We have had this planned since July so it's been a long wait. We got up there friday evening and got set up. When the Rex's got there we grilled out burgers and ate s'mores. Then all the boys were getting cranky so we headed to bed. The next morning we got up and ate breakfast at the resturant. Phil and Jeff went to golf. Gretchen, Gideon, Zack, Alex and I went and played at the park and went on a glass bottom boat ride. It was so cool. It's amazing all the stuff you don't get to see in the water. We saw lots of coral and fish. We also saw a watersnake, a starfish, some claims and Gretchen even saw a turtle. Then we headed back and everyone had lunch. That time I realized Zack was running a bit of a fever. So I got him some motrin and we took a nap. We met up with the Rexs later on and did go cart, put put then dinner at the resturant. We wanted to go back and have some more s'mores but it started raining. So we all went to our rooms and went to bed. Sunday we woke up the guys we golfing again and we walked around the base. Then we let Zack do the trampoline bungee. We said goodbye to the Rex's. (They stayed an extra night) We grabbed some lunch then headed back home. Now we are having a lazy afternoon. Here are some of the highlight pics from the weekend.
